We are a homeschool family that travels around because my husband can work from home. I have three babies and a loving husband. Our youngest Kiko is 8 months old now. We are doing EC with him and he is really sweet, and great at communicating . He signs potty, says poop, and takes calming breaths and crawls to the potty when he has to go. He is all smiles and communicates his needs and wants with eye contact, a few signs and words. He is always happy, super social, and cries rarely. Our middle child , our daughter Annika, is 6, she is brilliant and highly in tune with others, on a tough day, she will notice the moments and say things like wow mom, your smile is so beautiful, it’s so nice to see you smile to keep me smiling. She will always affirm everything I do, and makes everyone around her feel good. She is an amazing listener, so helpful and always on task. Our 8 year old, Nikolai, is brilliant and hardworking. He loves piano, composing music, science, math, and learning. He tries so hard in everything, is super helpful, spends his days pleasing us and has so much love to offer, but does not have the skills to get what he wants. He often has meltdowns, has difficulty following instruction, reading facial cues, disagreeing appropriately, and often is condescending to others. He is super generous, and will sacrifice everything for his family, friends, and church. He is creative, has really intense passions and good ideas, but will stop at nothing to get what he wants. This can be a good thing when he is determined to learn something, but also a bad thing because he will not take no as an answer. We would like to be a better parent to him, which is why we are doing this course.
